Who are we?
The Danes Educational Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust serving families in Hertfordshire, developing optimistic, resilient learners and valued, empowered staff through local, national and global partnerships.
It was established as a multi-academy trust in June 2016, converting from a single academy trust, St Clement Danes School, to allow the establishment of Croxley Danes School. This new, 11 to 18 secondary school opened in September 2017 with Year 7 students and is growing year on year. On 1st July 2019, Chancellor's School in Brookmans Park, near Potters Bar also joined the Trust.
The Danes Educational Trust is led by Dr Josephine Valentine OBE and is based at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood - a town in South West Hertfordshire close to Junction 18 of the M25. The Trust has an association with St Clement Danes’ founding charity, Holborn Estates, established in London in 1551.
