Danes Educational Trust is seeking committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the future for every child in our care. As a trust of 13 primary and secondary schools across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, we are dedicated to our vision of 'making the difference together'.

Representative governance
We believe that effective governance should reflect the vibrant diversity of our stakeholders. We are actively looking to increase the diversity of our board to better represent the communities around our schools, ensuring that a wide range of perspectives informs our decisions to promote the wellbeing and outcomes of all pupils.
Role details
- Remuneration: This is an unremunerated role; however, reasonable travel expenses are covered.
- Time commitment:
At least four meetings of the full trust board per year
Participation in at least one committee, four virtual meetings per year
Attendance at trust events on an ad hoc basis - Term: An initial four-year term with the possibility of one extension.
Location: Meetings are held at trust schools in Hertfordshire.
