Lanchester Primary School appoints new headteacher
Posted on: 09/11/2022Claire Hammond, from Watford, will take over Lanchester Primary School in Hempstead Road following a four-year stint teaching in China.
She told the Watford Observer she is “very excited” to join, adding: “What I am hoping to bring to the role is the building up of the community of Lanchester Primary.
"Because of Covid, there's been a lot of breakdowns and the school has been almost closed off to the parents and the community.
"So my main aim is to really develop that nurturing community.”
